Ultrasound (USG) Machines

  • Advanced Imaging (3D/4D): Beyond 2D scans, 3D and 4D imaging are now routinely used to provide real-time, moving volume data, which is essential for detailed fetal monitoring and complex cardiac evaluations.
  • Non-Invasive "Biopsy": New contrast-enhanced ultrasound techniques can now diagnose liver lesions and assess tissue stiffness (elastography), often eliminating the need for invasive physical biopsies.
  • Digital Radiography (DR): Traditional film is nearly obsolete. Modern DR systems provide instant, high-resolution images that can be adjusted after acquisition to highlight specific structures like bone or soft tissue.
